A nasal application oil that can save you from virus and bacteria causing infections through its unique natural effective action of being antiviral–fumigant and antibiotic.

It is a combination of cold–pressed coconut oil and steam distilled essential oil of camphor leaves. It is a diluted oil. It is sustainable and environment friendly. It is made from camphor tree leaves and not the camphor wood.

Camphor oil was extensively used as a fumigant during the Black Death (Bubonic Plague) times in Europe in the 14th century. Camphor is used in religious rituals to purify the air. It has strong insecticidal properties.

Our human bodies connect easily with Mother Nature and hence natural plant derived oils are highly therapeutic as compared to the synthetically made camphor oil.

The camphor available in the market is often synthetic made, hence it is much cheaper than steam distilled plant leaves derived camphor oil.

Steam distilled camphor leaves essential oil shows evidence of a number of biological properties such as being insecticidal, antiviral, antimicrobial and antitussive.

How to use

During times of deadly virus or any other flu that is viral in nature and causes respiratory illness – Apply oil with your index fingers gently in the inner walls of the nasal passage when you step out of the house, office, or car, as an added precaution. You can apply 3 to 4 times a day as needed.

During these previously unseen times – if you feel you have been infected by the virus Apply the camphor oil in the nasal airways and take steam. Follow this 2 to 3 times a day but surely at bedtime.

Cover yourself and sleep. Follow this for a minimum of 5 days. Camphor oil is a strong skin penetrator and therefore on the application, it makes its way into the body.

Children: Apply 1 to 2 drops on cloths near the neck and sleeves instead of directly applying in the nasal airways.

Camphor or menthol has been in use as a topical antitussive on children above the age of 2 years. Hence the Ayurmeans Camphora Nasal Oil can be used on children to ease flu–congestion-related symptoms.

Keep in a cool, dark place.

  • Do not use on patients that experience asthma or epilepsy disorders.
  • Do not ingest the oil. It easily gets absorbed into the body through the skin. The oil can be ingested only under the guidance of a medical or ayurvedic practitioner.
  • Do not apply to children less than 2 years of age.
  • Always keep the bottle airtight after use to retain the potency of the oil, as camphor oil is highly volatile. Keep it away from sunlight.
  • Camphor is flammable so keep the bottle away from fire or any heat source.
  • If you are allergic to camphor – avoid its usage. Though the product is absolutely free from chemicals and preservatives, we suggest you do a patch test on your skin before using it on a regular basis.
